Your Imprint is Legacy.

Legacy is a verb.

Actions you take now for the imprint you leave.

The WHY of my work is the importance of legacy.

The Philosophy of Legacy.

Your legacy is not only what you leave behind in this world.

BUT ALSO WHAT YOU DO TODAY. Legacy is a noun. It is also a verb.

It is how you treat yourself and your history. It is how you treat other people. It is how you handle mistakes. It is how you get what you want. It is in the richness of your mind and what thoughts get most of your attention and action. It is the translation of who you are and what you value, both at home and in your work.

Your legacy lives inside your values, how you manage your time and ways that your flaws show up in the world and what you do about them. Your legacy is so many things, and completely in your control.

It is also kind of like aging, it is happening whether you like it or not and deserves your upmost attention for maximum impact.

I help people develop strong elements of a personal legacy and support changing parts of their legacies they want to explore and adjust, such as lifestyles of perfectionism, anger, fear, secrecy, boredom at work, control, damaging habits and difficult relationships.

Your imprint on the world.

Your legacy is what you create and leave behind for others.

You are leaving a legacy right now.

This very minute, this very day.
Everyone leaves a legacy, what is yours?

Make your legacy a priority.

In life, we develop a legacy and every day we have the chance to add to that legacy.  We also have to deal with our heritage, the legacies that have impacted our lives.

I have not worked with one person who actively wants to maintain a controlling, perfectionistic, angry, anxious, unhappy (etc.) legacy that disconnects them meaningful work and relationships. I have however, on a frequent basis, too, worked with individuals who start therapy, work a little bit and then stop, only to call again in the future when they have a different readiness to work on challenging life material. We are all creatures of habit, avoidance and procrastination, but eventually, changing is less painful than staying stuck, unhappy, angry, sad or isolated..

Why a fingerprint?

A perfect representation of your individuality -

And the impact and the impression you leave wherever you go.

The thing - and the action. Legacy is a noun. It is also a verb.

My fingerprint logo represents the reality of legacy in all of our lives. It is a choice to pay attention to the imprint we make without decisions, our words, our time, our behaviors. And to address the legacies others have left to us, both positive and negative - because not all legacies are good ones.

The lines in a fingerprint represent multitude and fit. The many ways in which we express ourselves in this world - abilities, relationships and work to name a few.

We leave a legacy regardless. My work is with those who see opportunity in the action of building a meaningful, positive legacy.

Building a strong legacy requires a tremendous amount of bravery. Addressing disappointments, bad habits, and painful experiences requires regular, courageous moves.

  • When you think of your legacy - do you think of actions you are taking to build this structure?

  • What do you view as personal success and are you reaching that?

  • What experiences or relationships continue to cause you difficulty?

  • What has impacted your life, work, relationships and spirituality that influences the legacy you are leaving?

  • Are you reaching the ideas and goals you have set for yourself to live engaged and fulfilled?

  • For what do you want to be remembered?.”
